Next mod...

I haven't been too active on here and haven't had much time to do much of anything with my G. I've got the Z-tube and JWT pop charger, but that's it so far. I'm considering the MD 5/16" spacer and maybe HR y-pipe. Would those be the most logical mods to do next before getting into more expensive mods?

I like the idea of the HR headers and cats, but that's more work and $$ than I feel like putting into my daily driver right now. My wife has me funneling funds into putting rooms in the attic rather than modding my car

forget headers unless you are trying to get that last bit of HP out of your NA motor. The effort and $$$ will only get you a couple of HP anyway. If you have a "REV-UP" motor, get the MotorDyne MREV2 & 5/16" spacer. Don't fool with other air intakes or mods, what you have now is best. Then go for an ECU reflash of some sort. Beyond that, motor mods get $$$$$.

I don't have the REV-UP... couldn't find one local at a reasonable enough price when I was shopping, and had to make some sacrifices to get a car quickly. No A/C in my old car, and it was 95+ in June when I bought it.. consultants shouldn't arrive sweaty at a customer site :-)

i'm in the same situation as you are

i have a ztube and POP charger and i'm thinking about getting a spacer... i'm not sure if you need to get an ecu reflash with intake + spacer though.

i'm also considering swaybars

Normally Aspirated... ie., no turbo/no supercharger.

ive got a 04 AT and ive got a coupe mid pipe and HR y pie and let me tell you this thing sounds sickkkk, also the HR y pipe really helped with the boggyness down low and made the car a bit more repsonsive

I think the HR y-pipe might be my next mod - if I can find one at a reasonable price. Where did you get yours and what did you spend?

I've got a few friends that work at local dealerships, so I'm going to check into that route, since I'm pretty sure one works at Infiniti.

Price, OEM quality and R&D, and fitment are the main reasons I'd go with the VQ-HR pipe. After reading the thread regarding the HR pipe on the older G's, I'm sold.

I would go with the MD spacer. Best bang for your buck imo.
