okay I guess not too many people read the intro to this forum.. I asked for enlightened opinions about what it is.. And what kinda effect it could have on the engine .. Not a bunch of people who have no actual background in automotives talking about what they think the intake looks like, yes it looks like someone made it in there garage, unless ur a mechanic u shouldn't be commenting much about things u don't understand

i am a tech. btw, your question has been answered already. that my friend, is dryer duct. nothing fancy. just plain, old, dryer duct that can be purchased at any home depot or lowes. im sure that is is not doing any harm to your motor. but i cant say that its benefitting you either. i say spend the 60-100$ and buy a used oem airbox from a member on here.

man - I remember when crap like this wasn’t thought of much less done (the first couple years the G was introduced)... now that the G has been out for so many years there are enough used ones to have this crap... the Honda crowd is infiltrating the G community.

Two things in life that should but never will happen: 1) people should pass an IQ test before making babies; 2) people should pass an IQ test before owning a G.

This entire post is directed to the person that installed the clothes drier exhaust, not the guy that bought it with one.

BTW, take the POS off and put a real intake on it... the please dispose of the pic.

After thinking about it… that cant be serious right?... that had to be some purposeful **** posted in a Lexus forum or something… no one would do that for keeps, would they???

Funny thing is this was bought in either 03 or 04 , salvaged so this is From the days u were revering to
We got it and fixed it, didn't give any problems besides regular window motor pos malfunctioning, as my bro loves his car as it is(which Iunderstand) he isn't to interested in all the fun of fixing it up.. When it becomes my car I assure u it will be the first thing replaced, after buying a radar detector

I just saw a special on this intake last night. I called in the first 15 mins and got a second one for free lol. I think its a great idea increase HP and be able to dry your clothes on the go lol.

OP its your car no hate intend. But you had to know the reaction you were going to get. I think 99.9% of the people wouldn't think dryer duct would make a good replacement intake for the G.
