Exhaust for 04 "X"

Ok, i got coupe 19's and now im looking further for my 2004 G35x. I really like the look of the coupe exhaust and i know it will not fit on the Sedan, but i would like a similar dual set up. I really like the one ttrank has as well, with one ~3 inch pipe on each side. I am going to do intake and a 5/16 motordyne at the same time. Just looking for the exhaust to satisfy the looks and sound. Thanks for the help in advance. I would also need for it to fit a ~1.5 inch drop in the future

I'm not sure what your question is. If your question is what exhaust can I get? Then your only option for a catback is the Stillen Gen 1 or 2. AWD G35s are different and any other exhaust will not fit. Unless you want to get the HKS axle back.

ttrank's exhaust is a custom fab. As far as lowering the x. Get H&R sedan sports and call it a day.

Yeah it's rough that your choice is limited, BUT the Stillen Gen 1/2 is an awesome true dual exhaust. I have the Gen 2 and I 100% recommend it!

For the X the stillen is the only way to go and it does give you gains on HP. I have the gen 2 which has less drone than the gen1 and I love it pretty quiet at low rpm but at wot with the z-tube and stillen high flow box it sounds like a beast IMO.

Pics of the exhaust

thanks a lot, that really helps. Your car is sick also, the drop is mad clean and the roof spoiler and tints and everything looks sick with red.

"Either generation of these stainless steel cat-back exhaust systems will increase your sedan's performance (03-06 versions 21-23 hp and 21-23 lbs ft. of torque "

i find this info hard to swallow.... anyone confirm this... i figure a true dual would be maybe 5 whp but 21-23 is rather sick.

When I dynoed my car I believe the exhaust gave me 8 or 10whp and the spacer had gave me 3whp something like that, I gotta dig out the dyno sheets. Stillen says 21-23 but I believe that's to the crank.

What are the specs on your drop? Like how far and how you did it. Does rub the exhaust or anything because of the drop?

That's not true. The Top Speed Pro N1 for the G Sedan fits the X without any additional modification. Here are some sound clips:
