for light polishing i use my hand, a microfiber towel, and mothers mag and aluminum polish.

For extensive spot jobs, I use the polishing wheel on the dremel wtih some mothers polish

blue magic ftw!

you can also get the carbon build-up out of the inside of your tips with some WD-40. just spray it on, let it sit for a minute, then wipe it out with a towel. that should get most of the gunk out.

For hard to clean spots I use 1000 grit sandpaper and wet sand then Mothers metal polish.

I use Mothers Metal Polish. Does an amazing job. Check it out..

I also polished up the stock exhaust tips to see what it could do. Check it out. This was only after 15 minutes. I spent another 10-15 minutes and it's spotless now.

lol it works real well man. Just a rag or MF towel and some mothers metal polish and you're set. You'll be amazed how much black comes off on the rag

it's inevitable. Those parts of the exhaust will get like that from the carbon and heat constaly going through the pipes overtime. Don't sweat it. All exhausts get like that, unless you get under there every week and polish/clean it up

I like Blue Magic. I haven't tried Mothers yet.

Most are about the same as long as they have the ammonia in it. Sticks but you get a lot of shine in the end.

If you need to really brighten up the look, some Tripoli followed by a finish rouge. Then top it off with a mother's type polish.
