i'd go with a short ram (like z-tube + POP charger)

CAI won't get you more than 1-2 hp, and then you run the risk of sucking up water and hydrolocking your motor

short ram for sure. 200 dollar CAI vs 4k for motor and installation. you pick.

Honestly short ram or cold air is all your choice.

Just dont be stupid and drive into a puddle and youll never hydrolock with a CAI.

You could look at a Ztube and K&N filter, stillen cold air, injen cold air and many others

www.everythingg35.com or ebay or for sale ad's here on the forum?

Yes I also find it hilarious that people will complain so much how CAI is horrible and your gonna ruin your engine and then when they open their hood they are running a cheesey short ram intake thats loosing horse power because of all the heat soak because they are not using a heat sheild.

IMO I would get a cold air intake or id just get a Ztube and drop in K&N filter, our stock air box works so well I just dont see the point.

the pop charger sounds so good though

that's all i really got it for, no intake is going to really give you a big hp gain

I just posted my Injen CAI for sale in the marketplace if you're interested. I never had any issues with it while I was using it.

Your kidding yourself if you think those "heatshields" are going to protect the air filter from engine heat. When the underhood temps are 140 degrees, shield or not, the intake will ingest 140 degree air.
