Invidia G200 / Ringing noise

Recently has my G200 installed by a shop. Install looked good from what I saw, lots of clearance and everything. Anyways I let the car warm up today to about 1/4, and was testing out my exhaust just to show some friends of mine here at work, and I hear this ringing at about 3k RPM, also I took it to 5000-5500RPM and I had a really weird pop, is this because I didn't let the car warm all the way up?

This was while sitting in N

Maybe your exhaust is sitting on your "k" frame (just ahead of the rear axel)

Hmm I might have to check.. but when the shop had me take a look at the install, there seemed to be lots of clearance everywhere.. hmm.

Also interested in that popping noise, though I think I may have just revved to hard for it not being fully warmed up yet, I usually never do that

Were you driving at the time or was this with the car in neutral? There could be some resonance in the pipes - if this was a static test, try it while someone puts their hand on the exhaust pipe in different places to see if the sounds stops. If it does, you'll have to live with it or add another rubber mounting hook at that location. The ringing could also have been something in the shop (if you did this indoors) - try it while driving to see if you can still hear it.

Ok, ya it was sitting in N not fully warmed up... I might of heard it today when I was driving, however im going to let my car fully warm up before I take her home from work today (at work right now), and if I hear it, i'll take it back to the shop where I had it installed and we'll run some tests I suppose.. Its just weird that its around 300-3500 RPM only.
