Installed JWT Pop charger, but didn't put back the stock airbox ...

I had my cousin install the pop charger and he said we didn't need to put back the stock airbox. Should I have installed it back in? Any serious problems I can run into? I don't want to drive my car until I know for sure. Thanks in advance.

Just in case you guys think I'm talking about the box with the filter, I'm talking about the long piece, the first part you take off when installing the Pop Charger.

That long part in the middle of the car. At the end of his tutorial, it's still there.

the middle front? the scoop? that helps redirect air to your filter but wont kill you not having it there.

if you mean the oem tube like the ztube piece then yes that would be a problem

it connects into the heat shield to help draw in outside air...technically, it is not necessary but it would probably help colder air find its way...maybe someone who has removed theirs can chime in to whether they noticed any difference...even if it hinders performance i'm sure it would be hardly noticeable

On the popcharger heat shield there is a hole that is specifically for the piece you're talking about. If you didn't re-install that air duct, you should have some left-over rubber trim for the OEM piece and the hole in the heat shield. You might as well re-install that stock air duct, it's only going to help.
