Better? Better for what?
Powerwise, test pipes flow better.
Sound, that's subjective.
Can you deal with excessive exhaust fumes, rasp [stock exhaust tends to rasp even with resonated TP], and a louder exhaust? If so, get test pipes.

Do you guys have emission tests in NJ? If so, you may want to consider HFCs
I have Berks and have used them with the HR Y pipe and stock exhaust and loved the sound.
Everywhere I went I got complements. Then I upgraded to Fast Intentions Intimidator catback exhaust and the party continues.
I still have my stock exhaust and may switch back for sound purposes but all in all, you won't regret it if you went with HFCs.
For one, I don't have a CEL.
2. My car don't stink
3. I passed emissions in under 30 seconds when I went (6/25/09)
There you go!

I'm in the same dilemaa. Ive heard videos of HFCs on a stock exhaust and it doesnt sound much different to me. I want a loud mean-sounding exhaust. I don't really mind te smell as long as you can smell it driving. What do you guys think? Whats the best place to buy RTPs? FI?
