Thats what opening up the air flow does to the exhaust. Headers and HFC will typically add some drone. Not much else you can do about it. They are worth the cost in performance alone. Aside from the drone the sound is great.
I don't think I felt any performance gains. I had the full length Injen on and due to water issues near work I made it the shorty style and put a 9" filter on the end, changed the spark plugs to the Iridium 4469's and put the HFC's on; was wondering if I need to get the car re-tuned.....
