05 coupe midpipe Vs 05 sedan midpipe...need opinions

which one is better out of the 2? ive heard the coupe midpipe rattles a little bit since it only has 1 hanger and the sedan midpipe has 2 hangers. I dont really care for the performance aspect just the sound. There are 2 different people selling these where i live for the same price.Which one should i get?

don't worry about having one less hanger--the c.m.p. is much lighter and does not need the xtra hanger. All you have to do is gently bend the heat-shield up slightly with your hand or a rubber mallet on the part that is closest to the c.m.p but not too high as to interfere with the drive shaft and you're fine. No rattles, light weight and sounds great paired with an 03/04 muffler and if you like it more aggressive/pissed off, pair it with an HKS. The c.m.p. with HKS sounds amazing at WOT.

S.M.P is better than the stock m.p., but it still is too restrictive imo especially if you have stock muffler.

I've had both and the 05 sedan midpipe is deeper and less raspy.

05+ sedan midpipe

I had an 05 midpipe on my 04 sedan. It was definitely deeper, even from inside the cabin. However, it did not sound like the stock coupe or 350z from the outside. No issues with fitment though.

I have the 05 sedan midpipe paired with the HKS muffler. It's the right amount of drone and deep exhaust tone for my taste. If I got the coupe middy, it might be too much drone. Right now I'm happy with my setup, and it's great that the exhaust tone in my car opens up much more than in the other stock 03-06 sedans out there.

I've been running the 05/06 Sedan Mid-pipe, with the 04 muffler... sounds awesome... especially at WOT!! I am seriously contemplating installing a set of the Berk HFC's.. I think this will take it to the level I've been looking for as far as that sweet throaty, growl for the sedan.

I'll update as soon as I do this...

Take the coupe mid pipe. Mine doesnt rattle one bit. There is a lil bit of a weight difference and it does change the tone...I prefer it over my '06 sedan midpipe

Same as the coupe, just a lil shorter but yeah, I love the sound of my Z middy and my stock 03 muffler. Might go HKS eventually but for now I'm very happy with it. No drone, no rattles and a howl at WOT that is pure music.
