Exhaust question
I have 06 sedan a.t. with a hks muffler, it had a lot of drone from the 1500 rpm-3000 rpm range. So I recently added the hr y-pipe and while i was doing it i installed a less restrictive magnapack resonator for the mid. i still have drone around the 2000k mark but its pretty much gone around 3000k. So a knowledgeable friend on this forum told me if i take the magnapack resonator off and just replace it with a str8 pipe that i will eliminate most of the drone, b/c the air will flow better. What do u guys think about that? Has anyone had an experience like this? Thanks for any help fellas. Sorry bout the long question
whoever told you that is retarded and doesn't understand drone
Sedan is prone to drone because of the trunk space. Sound/noise vibrates around in there and comes through the cabin. This is the reason that the Sedans have such a different midpipe.
