Chrome Exhaust Tip

I was trying to remove one of the dinged up exhaust tip off of my 06 and one of the bolts snapped because of the rust. The car has less then 37k miles and i live in florida. That's ridiculous.
Anyone have any thoughts on how to remove the broken off stud that's still in the muffler?

You can use the PB Blaster spray. But, I would just go to the dealer and buy fresh replacements...

Anywhere to pick up a new OEM tip from?

I'm not getting a muffler anytime soon, so some new double tips would be nice

Yes, they can be replaced. They are each held with two bolts.

But are there decent replacement tips out there to be had? I'd kinda like a set of NEW oem tips as i def don't want to go thr Autozone bolt-on fart tip route.

Fortunately the tips are SS, so steel wool does a decent job...but i'd like new.

Better way to go is to get the tips of the new altimas.

Do a search for fat boy tips or something like that. They look better and are technically an OEM piece. I can't remember who did the mod, possibly DaveB.

It was DaveB. On his 03-04 muffler. Here's the thread for the DIY. Might go this route on my car.

I believe that one of the sponsors on this site, infiniti parts online?, sells the oem chrome tips for $20-25 each.
