^co sign. It will allow your mods to work with your car better so you will get better throttle response and feel the actual power of the mods. eventually the ecu will go back to its old self feeling sluggish again but thats what tunes are for.

The only bad part about the battery method is that there is no confirmation. With the pedal reset, the car confirms the successful reset.

no problem. Adding a Plenum Spacer tho will really allow that intake get to work. All I have are the 5/16th spacer and z tube and im faster than stock G35's.

Hope it works out for you.

I unplug the battery and pump the brakes 4 or 5 times to dissipate the caps. As much as I try, I cannot get the normal reset method to start (i.e. the pedal method), so I do it this way. No confirmation, but it seems to work.

thats because you dont pump the brake 5 times. lol. you pump the gas pedal. just follow the directions.

if you did it right the blinking CEL (check engine light) should turn off..thats the confirmation.

its a sure thing after it sits there for hours. The Pedal reset is the best..takes 2 min. max.

I have followed the directions, multiple times, and I cannot get the CEL to blink. I know how to read and follow directions, but many people have had problems getting the timing right. My method works fine and is given as an alternate method with the spacer instructions. It's only drawback is you lose your radio presets, but other than that it has the same effect.
