HR Y pipe install: mixed feelings

So... I picked up a used HR y pipe off a 350z. I dont really feel much of a difference. On top of that, the exhaust note is depper but quieter.

everything is installed correctly. No leaks.

Was wondering if this is what im suppose to expect.

i remember seeing some dyno plots and the pipe made approx 6-7 hp and 3 tq. So, no it wouldn't be an earth shattering difference.

Your not going to feel a 5-10hp difference. I didn't feel much of a difference in power but I noticed better throttle response.

If you want to feel a difference, get some test pipes or a tune.

i threw on what i think is a megan y-pipe that i got for $35 shipped and it feels a bit more peppy up top..although i think one of my oem flex pipes was leaking...that could have had something to do with it

Give it a week and let the ECU learn the change.
