You would need a custom built straight pipe. There are none that I know of on the market right now. you should run nismo headers, cat delete, mid delete, and axel back delete, resonated, lets see what that sounds like!

That would be called "test pipes" or "off-road mid-pipe". It's been done

Test pipes would also include a cat delete, if he just gets a pipe fabricated to fit the place of the mid pipe he would have an unresonated mid pipe.

You can get the MD VQ y-back with an unresonated mid-pipe. I think ProfanityPete did that but switched to resonated b/c it was too loud. See here: https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sed...-lovin-11.html

Do you happen to have the part number of the muffler/resonator you used? I am trying to get an idea of the different sizes (lengths) people have chosen to use.

I have the same setup (99% sure) I just went to a performance shop, and bought a Magnaflow straight through muffler. Basically a stainless steel glass-pack. If you delete the mid-pipe, you will get a lot of rasp and crackle. The Magnaflow provides a little more muffling than a straight pipe, good sound, cheap, not a big commitment. I would try this or a coupe middy and NOT a mid-pipe delete.
