Denso 143-2057 Engine Air Filter

Hi Guys,

I recently had a chance to review an aftermarket replacement air filter for the G, and I am pleased to say that I have found a great replacement oiled paper media filter.

This filter is from Denso, made in japan, has filter media just like oem, but this filter is actually higher quality that the OEM filters from Nissan.

Cool find!

FYI the purolator pure one air filter is oiled paper too.

Is there any way to visually tell it's an oiled filter?

Perhaps you could manage to capture the "greasy look" of it.

Yep, it'll have that translucent look. Like a greasy paper towel.

BTW, I threw in the Amsoil eA you sold me. Replaced the K&N that was in service for about 10k. K&N was dirty but not overly so but I noticed the car was running a touch sluggish before. With the newish Amsoil unit, the response is back.
