There's someone selling a used hks exhaust but it has about 30k miles on it, do you guys think its safe to buy or should i look at something newer?

 

it depends on you.. if u want it in a newer condition minus well just buy it brand new.. well if ur not gonna copp it, let me know.. ill take it off the guy

 

Depends entirely on how well the previous owner took care of it. I've had my HKS for roughly 5k miles and when I took it off and cleaned it, it still looked brand new.

Obviously 30k is much more than that, but if the owner cleaned the canisters at least biweekly and didn't drive it in the snow/salt, then it should be in good condition.

So, I'd ask for pics or if he's local definitely go check it out in person first.

 

as long as nothing is broken or damaged i'd take it. The tips you should be able to wash/polish but the rest you wont see anyways. Must be one hell of a deal if it has 30k on it.
