so I just got back from wal-mart which is connected to the mall.. and you know what that means... DETOUR FTW!

great thread. i know exactly what you mean. underground/covered parking lots are great too. after my coupe middy/HKS install i don't think i'll ever tire of the sound of the VQ working hard.

even the wife says "it sounds kinda mean, now stop it".

I do it my school parking garage and set off alarms in there too lol funny

with headers, hfc and Stillen gen1 - I have to make sure I dont gun it in a tunnel (draws way too much attention)... would be a major face palm if a cop was sitting at the end of the tunnel.... they seem to be drawn to the car even without a tunnel

That's the funny thing about my buddy's Murano. The InJen intake was SOOOOO freaking loud, but on the outside, it's just an unassuming Murano. Nobody ever related that sound to that vehicle. Works with the G35 sometimes. Actually used that to pull a prank on my cousin. (It helps that my intake is a lot louder than his, but still makes perfect VQ sounds)
First of all, he drives a bright red 350z on coils with black/chrome 18's. So I'm riding behind him in traffic, we're catching up with traffic stopped at a light, the guy riding with me notices a riced out Honda in the other lane that my cousin is going to end up being right beside. He tells me "Quick tach it out!" so I did... the guys in the Honda look right at the Z. They totally thought it was Wes revving at them

^Oh it was!!! As soon as we saw the Honda guys head whip around to look at the Z, we both cracked up

 

I love being "that guy" and revving it up next to a riced out civic.. then they punch it and I just putt along laughing...

Anyways, I'm driving home from the movies last friday night at 2 am .. I live in a fairly rural area by the way.. and I see all of maybe 4 cars on my way home driving on a 2 lane road... sooo this older accord pulls up with these two BOMBSHELLS in it.. they go flying by and I don't really think twice about it.. but then they slow down and get reallllll close to my car which really ruffles my feathers.. speed limites 45 and i'm doin 55.. I drop into 3rd and take off.. I see them tryin to keep up.. and then they slow down.. why did they slow down you ask? because they saw the cop I didn't see.. needless to say, I got pulled over for a hefty speeding violation (first ticket in the G)

last time i'll ever d*ck around like that.

 

i look for tunnels/bridges just to hear it. hell yeah

I would say maybe they were undercover, just setting you up.... but you said they were hot, and everyone knows there's no such thing as a hot female cop
