HKS Statik Replica VS. HKS ARK Replica
HKS Statik Replica VS. HKS ARK Replica
Which one do you guys think is better? They both seem to be knock-off's of HKS. The exhaust by Statik Performance is $380 shipped, while the ARK Performance system is around $900. Any opinions? feedback? Thanks in advance
P.S. I know neither are as good as HKS quality-wise, and if money wasn't a factor, I'd get the real deal, but for now, I think one of these will suffice.

i have the hks replica from statik and i'm happy with it. the only issue is the common ones... like the tip is kinda ugly and it rust easily. it left a stain after the rain but i replaced them with new titanium tips. also the fitment is almost perfect... one muffler touches the bumper so i had a muffler shop heat up the pipes and pushed them so it won't touch anymore.
for the money, it's good enough. there's no rasp and it has a nice loud tone. sounds loud inside the car but outside, it's niceee. so far the shops i've been to and my friends say that my exhaust sounds really nice.

If you have $900 to spend on the ARK exhaust, then you have $900 to spend on a used authentic HKS. I bought mine used for $800 - they regularly sell for $800-$1000 used in the marketplace.
Uhhh.. what are you looking for? One is a low budget option one is right up there with the authentic in price and with many other "top" systems. I mean if you have the money by all means go for some of the authentic, better options but if not the x02 is great imo, I love mine and I would do it again in an instant.
Fit like stated was just a tiny bit off but you can fix it easily, tips aren't the best looking but not terrible and easily replaceable. Rust? I have not had any problems in a years time but then again I don't deal with snow or salt on the roads for snow.

yeah i wish i snatched up one of the HKS systems that were up recently. I just get so impatient, and most of the guys usually don't ship.
P.S. I would def get the ARK's, but I was doing some research, and it seems as though Cal determined the tips are tucked even with extentions, bc the system is made for the Z...

if all these companies are going to keep producing knockoffs, who's going to do any actual design and engineering? thanks to knockoffs, ralliart is closing, hotshots gone ...
OP, go with Statik!

What he said. I'd rather have a used HKS system than a brand new cheap knock off. Have patience and save up for the real thing.
Yup, there was an HKS up for sale recently for $900 and it was pristine. The thing looked new. OP, wait for the real deal.
the reason why i'm really considering the knock-off is because as stated, it seems like HKS systems are pretty rare now. when they do pop up, they're in high demand, and people like me on the east coast have lowest priority because no one wants to ship
