is the whole thing 3 inch diameter? i know my aftermarket ypipe is 2.5 with a 3 inch collector

SDGenius you got it right...it is a 3" inlet collector going to 2.5" pipes to the muffler.

I wished the transition for the Y didn't include those two short straight pipes before merging into the collector.
