this has been floating around for some time now...
Notes:
1. Extracts of this article have been transcribed from a Japanese article featured in Revspeed Magazine, August 1999.
2. The original test was based upon the results found when using filters specifically made to fit the Toyota Supra. However, the filtration is unlikely to differ, as all the filtration materials used are the same for every model of car.
3. The cost given for the filters are based on a the kit for an R33 Skyline GTR, except the K & N kit which only currently exists for a Skyline GTS, and are inclusive of VAT.

oh, no. i like this best because of the performance, as crazy at that sounds. i loved the sound and performance of the Blitz too, it just wasn't the best feeling know the filtration wasn't up to par. the R2C was stellar as well but it was too bulky and quiet for me. so the A'PEXi is pretty much the best of all worlds, LOL

yeah, the A'PEXi drop-in uses the same material. i do plan on putting the their panel filter in my Wife's G in the near future. i'm sure that setup will be great. the only thing i feel the cone ver. has over the panel style is the dual funnel design. though the OEM air box does have much better seal against heat.

You wouldn't happen to know the dimensions of the filter, I'm wondering if I could fit this in my OEM airbox if I removed the velocity stack and used some longer bolts to attach it to the MAF.
Edit:
Found the OD is 160mm now I just need the length, starting to think this will work. SD if you have a chance could you get a measurement for me?
