Ah, im really in a debate between a apexi cone or a apexi drop it now..

It seems that the apexi drop in would be simpler because i already have the 06+ rev up box and the cone filter, id have to get a heat shield which overall might not even be that effective in the long run

it sounds and feels like any high-flow drop-in, i just like that it's dry and cheap.

I would get the drop-in filter. Only reason im using a cone filter is b/c i cannot fit the factory air-box on with the strut bar I am using.

So it won't fit in the stock air box correct and if not it will bolt directly to the maf tube w/o any adapters? Also if not is there a way to get this filter plus the heat shield from the pop charger?

don't know about the stock air box, but as long as you buy the one for the 350z it'll come w/the right adapter.

The R2C I have is super loud! I can't imagine how this A'PEXi sounds, then...

In terms of airflow and filtration, how would the Apexi panel style compare to the stock Nissan dry filters? Price between the two seem quite comparable.

well i did go from the Blitz SUS to the R2C, so it was def a lot quieter in comparison.
