Quick Question regarding JWT PopCharger and 350z OEM Ztube

Hey,

Im planning on buying a 350z Ztube and JWT Popcharger off a friend's 350z to put in my 2006 g35 coupe.

Will it work? I know it will, but im just confirming to make sure before i buy.

Yup, I am running that same setup on my car. The only thing with the jwt popcharger for the 350z is that the heat shield is different from the g35 one. Therefore the heatshield will not have the hole to take air from the duct in front of the engine to the intake. You could cut a hole in the shield and fab something up or just take the duct out.

this is correct same thing with mine.

is it recommended to cut a hole in the shield? leaving it as it is will be fine?

you don't need to but if you do you should fab up something to connect the duct to the shield.. i have always meant to do it but just never got to it.
