350Z midpipe on Sedan?

Will the 350Z midpipe fit on our sedans like the Coupe midpipe will?

you'll need an extension, bill. Performance Nissan has them for around $50.

Re: 350Z midpipe on Sedan?

Thanks Al. I'm prepping for my holiday upgrades and am weighing options. Hotchkis sways are on the list and I'm looking to add one more project to round things out. Right now, I'm torn between a Coupe midpipe, 350Z midpipe, y-pipe, or an electric fan conversion (been talking with DaveO 'bout that one). Any suggestions?

BTW - did geeman49 ever get his pulley on?

Nope. We got the pulley bolt off but the damn pulley itself wouldn't work itself loose.

He's going to take it into a shop in Hillsboro.

Change the mid-pipe. You'll lose ~20+ lbs and it's less expensive than the y-pipe. Don't know about the electric fan conversion. BTW, you're still welcome to my mid-pipe (you'll have to have a garage weld a pipe where I cut into it) if you want.

Call Z Car Garage they have the entire mid pipe set up factory flangess. Its a bolt in and you can keep your old set up...just in case. I have the first one and like it very much.

If you don't mind me asking - how much did you pay and what are your impressions?

Never mind my last post. I called Z Garage. They've got 1 left in stock from the initial run and they're letting it go for $100 or $175 installed. I'm not planning on buying til closer to the holiday season, but I'm definitely leaning this way.

Re: 350Z midpipe on Sedan?

For anyone who's interested, I just picked up a 350Z mid-pipe from Z-Car Garage in San Jose. It's a nice piece of work. Instead of bolting on a 6 inch extension, they actually replaced the entire upstream pipe. It looks very clean and factory. I'll post pics when I get home this weekend (down here on business) and then will also let everyone know how it sounds and performs once I install it - probably in late December.

Z-Car Garage and Rob in particular were great to work with - and what a shop: very tricked out 350Zs, various mean looking Datsuns, and even a Supra sitting out front. As soon as I pulled onto their street, I could spot the shop due to the sun glinting off those phat rides. Very nice!
