Hey hate to make a stupid question and did a search but couldnt find anything relevent to my question. The skunk 2 plenum spacer,I had it on my 03 350Z and it sat the manifold up to high and it rubbed my hood supports and wore thru it and made the manifold look like crap. With the G35 has there been any issues with this happening?any clearance problems? Thanks!

I just installed this plenum spacer on my o4 Sedan. I did happen to take the engine cover off to prevent any issue. It seems like this spacer is the biggest one you can buy. PM me for any questions.

I have a 5/16 spacer along with the engine cover on- no issues at all.

I ran the 5/8" Skunk for a while and it did rub a little. I took the cover off shortly thereafter, though. The other thing you can do is remove the underhood insulating foam thingie. Or lots of people do both, and go to work sprucing up their engine bay instead of covering it up.

I had a 1/2 spacer for 6months and i had no fitment issues, infact the only thing you would have to forfeit is the engine cover. Other than that you will be good.
