Will coupe Ypipe fit X sedan?

Will an 04 coupe Ypipe fit an 06 X sedan?

Ive been told no cause the transfer case is in the way. Just want to know 100% before i go selling and searching again.

WILL NOT fit..i got an 05x and bought an m2 performance G37 y pipe from hopupracing.com for 165 shipped (id 2.5 od 3.0)

Its a regular DE y-pipe. Just compare the pictures of a DE and HR.

the only y pipes that will fit need to have the HR style...the g37 y pipes are the same but the diameters r larger on the 350z ones..thats y i bought the m2 one its for a g37 but fits our cars perfectly with larger opening(if your going to do after market exhaust becuase of size of pipes...stock used 350z hr pipes were just as much

I owe someone with an X sedan a Y pipe thats why im asking.

So the coupe y pipe does not fit the sedan ?!?!?!? Uh oH .... I sold 2 y pipes from my coupes to sedan owners local here .... But i asked them first are you sure they fit the sedan... They said yes they do...

Forgot to add they were off a 03 and 04 .. i also sold the mid pipes as well to sedan owners and stock springs.

I'm confused so as long as its a hr y pipe it would bolt on to a 1st gen g35x?

yes a 350Z w/ HR ypipe or any 2nd gen ypipe.
