I dobt need any more power, so I'd rather go with sound, what's the most aubdle change in the exhaust note? Can I get away with just mufflers or do i have to get a cat back system?

Kris, if you're looking to just change the sound a muffler would accomplish that. Visit your local muffler shop for their advice/cost.... Be careful other members will suggest everything from a complete exhaust system to forced induction when all you need is a muffler....see what I mean?

Here are some of the options

1. Find a Greddy SP2 axle back muffler

2. Test Pipes or High flow Cats

3. OEM Muffler from a Nismo 350Z (will require tips to be extended from you local muffler shop)

4. Magnaflow 12225 (unpolished) or 12226 (polished) from performancepeddler.com for around $100 shipped and take it you to your muffler shop. Dimensions are similar to the OEM muffler (single in/dual out) and you can use the OEM tips.

5. Look in your local craigslist to find a good used exhaust system.

I bought a flowmaster muffler for a camaro, pulled mine off replaced in kind and then cut out my mid pipe resonator . Everything else is stock and it sounds sweet. Not too loud but just that perfect growl especially at around 3000 rpm and above.. total cost $150 dollars.
