08 hr y pipe fitment issues onto my 04 sedan??
I just got a call from the car shop telling me the 08 hr y pipe from a 350z won't fit onto my 04 automatic sedan???
I'll be heading over there soon to take a look, any help please??!

haha I'm at the car shop now. turns out the mechanic was just playing with me
(btw i didn't have to pay cause he's a good friend or else I would have just installed it myself)
thanks for the quick response

well first thing i did was reset the ecu,
then as soon as i got on the feeder i really gave it some gas and my first impression was how much smoother the car was. i didnt really notice any power gains but that's expected.
i had gotten a SXEXCX grounding kit (with a ecu reset) a couple of weeks ago expecting the car to have better throttle response and smoothing out the 5 speed automatic lag in shifting and whatnot- but in the end, i didnt feel it changed much
BUTTTT on the other hand - with this hr y pipe, i feel like the shifting in gears and acceleration was a lot smoother!??! i dont know if the hr y pipe is suppose to improve the smoothness when accelerating but i really feel like its smoother now with the hr y pipe..
as for sound, ( HKS axle back + stock mid + hr y pipe ), if anything there was a LITTLE sound increase but i feel like it simply changed the note of my exhaust more than loudness. its now deeperr and sounds more aggressive.
i was just really happy about the smoothness when accelerating, ill pay more attention to the sound tomorrow. maybe it will improve even more after the ecu puts in 50 miles of learning how i drive?
