Which CAI to install?
Which one should I install and why?
I was given both of these from two different members on here for FREE! I've given them both Free stuff in the past so karma has been good to me recently.
I am currently using the stock intake.
I live in Tampa, FL and my car is not lowered, so I don't need to worry about driving over large bodies of water.
I want to know which is recommend, and why?
I want the sweet sound everyone brags about and whatever performance gains I can get.

no true. think about how hot the ground is on summer day when you can actually see the heat rising off the street. and regardless of that. the whole pipe is still in the engine bay. install either one run the car for about 20 minutes of actual driving. then open the hood and touch it. its going to be hot as hell.

I have the cai that you pictured, but only because it already came on my car. It has a nice whistle/hiss to it that I enjoy. It goes down in the bumper and it also protected by the undercarriage guard(?) so I don't see heat affecting it as much as it would the short ram.
it all depends on you bro cuz we all have different taste, most ppl in the forum like the popcharger, i prefer the injen cai thats what i ordered.......just do research you will see different opinions
The cold air intake you posted will not add any HP and when it gets really warm in Florida it will cost a few. Our G35s thrive on cold air but if that's the intake you like....run it! There are other intakes available that aren't bothered by heat soak but they don't look cool, just functional. You have choices....

If you want the best intake for performance, keep your stock box, and add a z tube.
If you like the sound, either one will work lol.
This will help you.
