Hello All,

I already have an HR-y pipe installed and found a local guy selling a coupe mid pipe. Would this do anything for my car or not? I am reading conflicting reports here on the forums. Will it change my exhaust note at all, and will there be any power gains from installing it since is has a smaller resonator?

It changed my exhaust note noticeably with no other mods. As far as gains, other than saving some poundage, not that I'm aware. The stock midpipe seemed A LOT heavier than the Coupe. maybe 25 Lbs. Someone here has done the weight analysis.

 

Yes, and no. Youll hear the difference, you wont feel it tho :/

 

I think the coupe it 10 or 15 lb..vs sedan 25 or 35lb
