Test pipes or Y-pipes on stock coupe?

I have read every post in this section concerning test pipes and y-pipes and i have a coupple questions. I want a meaner sounding exhaust untill i can save up enough for a cat back. Who makes resonated test pipes? i do not want the raspy sound i constantly read about. Also, does a Y-pipe include test pipes? I read that hollowing out the stock cats does nothing for sound is this true? what can i do temp. b4 i get a cat back for a more throatier sound? thx a lot

YPipe does not include test pipes. I had Kinetix Resonated on my car before and I dont like it, the welds are terrible and the fitment is not perfect IMO. If I am correct I think Unlimited Tuning is in the process of making the Resonated Test Pipes, should be available soon. Hope this info helps.
