Which HFC??
Which HFC??
I'm looking to buy some HFC's for my next mod. I've done some research and narrowed it down to either Crawford, Fast Intentions, or Berk. Which HFC sounds and performs the best in your opinion?? I want zero rasp and I want to add a deeper tone to my stock exhaust. I realize I won't gain that much regardless of which company I go with, but which one is the most free-flowing??
Thanks in advance for all of your help everyone! I'm so indecisive it's ridiculous lol.

+1 for Fast Intentions HFC's, I used to have them before switching to my ART pipes and loved them. As far as which is more free-flowing, check out how many cells the HFCs have, I believe FI has 300 cell, 500 cell, and maybe others. The more cells it has, the more restrictive it is.
Yea FI's HFC's are 300 cell. Thanks for the info cause I was wondering what the cell count meant! Ok, one last question lol....
FI's test pipes vs. the HFC's? FI's website says there is no rasp with the test pipes but every other test pipe I research has rasp. Do you guys know if FI's resonated test pipes have rasp with stock exhaust? I watched a vid on youtube of a kid with test pipes and stock exhaust and it sounded way better than most test pipes I've heard. I don't have to worry about emissions so I don't care about CEL's and all that, and the noise and smell won't bother me (I hope lol). I'm really just worried about rasp and my wallet!
Thanks again everyone!

I've never heard the FI resonated test pipes with stock exhaust, so I can't comment on it.
However, if you're going to go cat-less, then you might as well get the Motordyne ART pipes...better gains than normal test pipes.

I was actually thinking about that just now! I got kinda confused on MD's website though. I can just purchase the ART pipes by themselves right?? I don't need to get the XYZ pipe or one of their exhausts?? $%&#, too many options lol. Thanks again for the help!

I don't think I've heard a stock exhaust with ART pipes. And yeah, you could buy just the ART pipes, you don't need anything else.

God that sounds good
I guess now I'm deciding between the ART pipes and FI's RTP's lol. I didn't really want to close to $600 but if they're worth the price then maybe I'll wait another week or two and save up. I hate being indecisive hahah.
You guys have really been a big help and I truly appreciate it. I know it can get annoying answering so many noobish questions lol.

You will have rasp with stock exhaust and ART pipes... I would just stick with the stock cats unless you plan on changing the rest of the exhaust. I can't wait until I get my exhaust done so my ART pipes stop rasping.
