how would a turbo apex look on a sedan?
i have a 240sx im selling and i have a apex-i single n1 full exhaust... i can't get much for it so i might cut it up. how would it look on a sedan. with full mandrel bend piping in stainless and 3 inch piping. plus i want to tinker with the new mig welder here at work. it has a three in resonator i would most likely install into the mix some how. i love the way the n1 sounds on my 240 not loud at all just a nice rumble and its smooth and deep. let me know i might just do it as an experiment. we'll see.
no opinions... i don't mind if they say it will suck or not i just wanna know what others will think... i get kinda blinded when i build something. and forget if it will look rice boy-ish. thanks jon
If you want to see how N1 can will look, just look at some pictures with Blitz on sedan. Looks ok, but I personaly don't like it.This setup would probably yield some decent gains if coupled with wider y-pipe.
If you could do the same with Apexi Dual, I would be your first customer.

i have cut out two pieces of the bend on the s14 apex single n1 (i would love to do a dual) i have it on my s13 coupe. (see attatched pic) but the s14 is the one im selling so i cut it up. since it was mandrel bent i just cut out two pie shaped pieces and it welded back up super smooth. i might grow some ***** and cut up a apex-i dual but i would have to pic it up for somewhere around 250 used off of a forum. will post pics of the apex single in a couple days i have to weld on some hangers. plus its a little on the loud side i started it with it held up on a jack stand and bolted to the car but it revs way easier now.
I would get the N1 installed... I have a coupe and I am installing 2 N1's on mines... I think it's going to look solid... My opinion... Plus points at the shows I'm pretty sure... Loud also is a plus in my book...
we will see im hoping to finish it up tonight... i thinki might end up painting everything but the resonator and the canister either black or silver, and if it sounds good and i keep it i might powder coat it but the round stock im using to make thehangers is going to be still so i can't leave them raw or they will rust. everything else is stainless including the (tig)welds. im going to the meet on thursday so hopefully i can get someone to snap a pic with a digital camera.
