Motordyne tips on HKS replica exhaust?

Wondering if anyone has used the motordyne burnt titanium tips on a hks replica exhaust... i know that motordyne's tips are the full piece and not the slide on type. would chopping off the hks replicas muffler tip part be the only way to use them? please share some ideas, much appreciated. thanks.

btw, i didn't want to buy the topspeed tips cause of the holes on the bottom for universal use. if anyone knows another type of tips i can use, that would be great.

I know people have previously used MD to replace x02 ones, they are nice but quite pricey but would be a nice replacement

how did they replace it? did they chop off the end and weld on the motordyne tips? i know it's not a simple slip over the opening...
