I'm looking to purchase some Berks HFC but had a few questions. After installing will I have any check engine light? Will I pass CA smog without any hassel after installing the Berks HFC? The reason is My Service engine soon light is on and I had it scanned. The caused was (P0340)catalyst system effi below threshold bank 2 was the caused. So I thought going with aftermarket Cats will do the trick! So any input will help. Thanks.

 

I've heard of some people getting the check engine light after installing berks, but most do not.
I had mine installed (used) with no issues, which I think is the norm. 06' G35 coupe 6mt.
I have also come accross a lot of people from SoCal that have passed smog with HFCs, Berks and others.
TPs are the ones that will give you probs with passing smog.
Not sure if HFCs will fix the prob with the code though.
