If I purchase the car, I may just be safe and run stock cats with the HKS system. I'd assume you haven't had any CEL issues with your setup, correct? Sounds at least decent too?

With stock cats I haven't had a CEL once. It sounds great! The HKS exhaust has a nice throaty tone.

Check out this link if you haven't already. Videos don't quite capture the true sound of the exhausts.

Check out the video of the HKS exhaust with Long tube headers.

I have HKS Hi Power axelbacks with stock cats and love the way she sounds. I'm not going to put HFC's.

I glanced at that thread a while back, but never really looked at it in depth. To be honest I never expected to have to make a decision on an exhaust system this early, since I don't even have the car yet. I'm gonna take a look at it now though.

Btw, I want to thank you for you help here. You've been incredibly helpful thus far and I really appreciate it.

I don't even know for sure if I'll end up with the car, but if I do, I may consider a trade for a stock exhaust plus cash.

This sounds like the way to go. From what I hear, HFC's often times need to be replaced after a few years, and if the stock cats sounds good, then hell, I'll just install those.
