Shockwave TDX2 - Fitment on 2004 coupe
Shockwave TDX2 - Fitment on 2004 coupe
Now that ART pipes are finally holding up (my third set), and just before I finally figured out why my MPG is very poor (ART O2 extension is cause of ECU constantly correcting "lean" AFR) - I ordered shockwave TDX2.
Like I didn't have enough trouble with exhaust, this TDX2 exhaust have no clearance on passenger side above rear sway bar, EVAP canister shield nor over Tunnel stay (accordion piece). Even with EVAP canister shield removed, and Tunnel stay lowered with spacer by 1/4 inch, this exhaust (with ART pipes) is banging under my coupe while diving over ruff streets with bumps or pat-holes.
Just so that I dont waste more money on another (to be third) install attempt, can shockwave TDX2 be installed on 2004 coupe? I like to hear how have you done it. Thank you.

Did you order this from Tony @ Motordyne?
Have you called them? I would highly suggest you do, it doesn't sound like it's fitted correctly at all. I believe this exhaust should fit the G35 with no problems.
