P0171 o2 Sensor code clearing: (Car has mods)

Hey guys, I decided to add to my Nissan collection this weekend and picked up a 2006 g35c in good condition. I also own a 1973 Datsun 240z that I am in the process of restoring and a 2002 Sentra.

The seller of the G told me that the car has been throwing a P0171 error. He replaced the o2 sensor but it keeps occurring.

Since buying the car and driving it 800 miles home, here's what I know. I averaged 23mpg, the car was not running hot during the trip. I also tried resetting the ecu but the check engine light appeared when I started the car afterwards.

I have a feeling that I am running lean since the car has an intake, headers, catback exhaust and race cats and-no ecu tuning has been done. (which sounds like a terrible idea, but I am not too fluent with this engine and the stock tune yet, so what do I know.)

Anyway, I am posting here looking for possible solutions. From what I have read so far, I should try cleaning the maf and looking for vacuum leaks. How likely is it that the stock tune is the problem?

Thanks in advance!

stock tune is the problem. ECU cannot compensate for that many mods. I thru lean codes with only a intake spacer and HFC. Get a tune quickly

Thanks, that's what I was hoping to hear. What is the best way to tune these cars? What are my options?
