My mechanic is giving me crap about my exhaust, saying its not smog legal. Does anybody know anything about California smog laws? I haven't touched the cats. It has resonators and mufflers.

California is pretty strict, but I was under the impression that everything, besides the cats, was fair game.

I passed fine with my catback, you'll be fine as long as you leave your cats and nothing is wrong with your car
