I'm looking to get some magnaflow universal cats for my 1st gen g35 sedan but I'm not sure which ones to get and whether or not they'll throw a CEL because they might or might not come with o2 sensors. Has anyone installed magnaflow cats on their G and had success?

Because of how tight our engine tolerances are I'd be leery of anything "universal". And I haven't heard of anyone buying Magnaflow cats.
