very small hole in stock air intake?

I noticed a small hole in the back of the plastic casing of my air intake, the part towards the center front of the hood. It looks like it was machined there, so I'm assuming it's intentional. My question: is that something I want to fill, or is its presence a vital contributor to my G's good air flow? Don't ask me why, but I get the sense that they meant for something to stick out on the other side of it, like maybe something to support a cable. I just can't stand thinking of all the hundreths of thousandths of horsepower I must be losing. Plus I want to list "reinforced air intake" as a mod in the Rides section, after I stick a thumbnail-sized glob of epoxy in there.

I havent seen the little hole your refering to in that specific spot. But after I removed my intakes resonator I noticed a little hole much like the same that you described. In the resonator I figured it was just for pressure release. That wouldnt be the case in an actually inlet though but im sure its intended to be there. Might be due to the way its manufactured had to have one spot holding it, thus causing a hole. I gurantee its nohing to worry about, plug it if you want.
