Nismo S-Tune Exhaust with Motordyne
I am currently running stock cats with a full nismo s tune exhaust. Sounds great, just wish it were deeper in the lower ranges. I remember reading somewhere that increasing the diamater of the y-pipe is the best way to lower the tone.
I am looking at the MD XYZ resonated pipe and am confused as to how it will fit with the Nismo with the change in diameter. Also as far as the MD ART pipes go, do they also require some sort of adapter to fit to the Nismo, or would they bolt right up? Thanks for reading and any input

the step from the xyz to the mid pipe is fine. i have the same setup. the art pipes replace your cats so they bolt right up. either go with the xyz y pipe or the hr. either will bolt up just fine. i asked the same question last year.

How do you like the setup, did you get the resonated pipes or the high flow cats? I don't want to hear any honda-esque nosies coming out of my car so I've been contemplating just changing the Y pipe, and possibly leaving the stock cats in. Will those pipes even add that much raspy droney noise, since the nismo isn't a true dual exit exhaust? Thanks for the input tho I appreciate it
no rasp at all, very subtle, people who dont mod their g's think my exhaust is stock which is how i like it. its just a little deeper. i have the resonated pipe and stock cats atm. gunna change out to arts with the hfc but as of now there is absolutely no rasp. just deeper tone, very sexy in my opinion, you will not have any honda-esque noises with this setup
