350z hks exhaust on a g35 . extensions question

hey guys I did some searching and found that for me to run a hks exhaust made for the 350z on my g35 I would need extensions, my questions is can the exhaust shop just fab something up or do I need to order some extensions from a distributor? and if so who sells them?

Any decent shop should be able to either make some extensions or just weld in a section to increase the length. Although you can also buy extensions for fairly cheap from vedors/ebay and not have to worry about altering the exhaust.

thanks xet, I don't have any issues having the shop add some ext in there, just didn't know if it would alter the sound of the hks hi power, or if it would be a better option to buy some pre made. I just don't want to ruin a good exhaust cutting and adding to it

Sound shouldn't be altered at all if done correctly. I would personally go for either the shop fabbing up some extensions or buying some online, I wouldn't risk cutting the exhaust to put some in just in case the shop makes a mistake (also not doing it permanently allows you to still market to the 350z guys if you ever choose to sell).

That's true. I'd want to keep sale options available to both cars in the future if I decide to go a different route. Thanks for the advice
