MAF question

hey this is my first post on this forum, i was wondering if anyone could tell me if there are any issues in changing the round MAF to a rectangle MAF i'm looking at putting a new cold/ram intake in my 03 coupe and seeming as though most intakes are built for the rectangle maf was just seeing if there would be any issues changing it? thanks

its for my 03 coupe I was looking and putting a nismo or greddy intake on it but most take the rectangle application and I was just unsure if there when any difference between the 2 just so it doesn't set of codes or the dash or something. I thought they would be able to swapped around just wanted to check.

Please know what you're talking about before you steer people wrong. 03 coupes and sedans had a different MAF than the subsequent years.

As far as I know the maf's are not interchangeable from a wiring perspective. I don't think the plug from the 03 will clip into a newer maf.
