04 coupe exhaust/headers

I want to get a deep loud sound from my exhaust. What do you think of the godspeed catback system? And would headers help? And how hard is it to install headers. Thanks. I have about 500-600 to work with this week and want to do an upgrade.

Hey Danny, I'll chime in but I don't have an aftermarket exhaust or headers so not an expert by any means...

A cat back exhaust and headers will help you achieve the deep and loud sound you want BUT the sound will vary from brand to brand. Utilize the forum by searching and looking through the Aftermarket Exhaust sticky for sound clips/gains. I'm not familiar with the Godspeed but I'm sure someone has it.

Headers can't hurt but from everything I've read...they seem like a challenging install. $500-600 won't get you an exhaust so I'd recommend you look into some high flow cats. It will run you about $600 for a name brand set, will add a deeper growl, and is said to be the most restrictive part of our exhausts.

Get ART pipes and install them yourself. Deep, melodic sound, fits your budget and will free up some HP. Then you can save some more for a quality exhaust and you'll be really happy!
