Injen Exhaust...% of fiberglass problem??

I just received the injen exhaust and it was the older version of the straight pipe (despite asking the seller if it was the newer version to which he said yes ). It's not installed yet but does anyone know how common the fiberglass issue was with the injen? Was it just a bad sample or something more prevalent witht the system? Thanks.

only their first batch that was made. it was within the mid pipes. call up injen and ask them for the replacements. actually, i think the guy you bought it from has to make the call. not sure, but you can get the replacement's.

sorry to hear. i'd contact Duy at Injen and tell him the problem. he's very customer oriented, and will definately take care of that problem. i have no problem from my SES.

I've had the replacement primary pipes for a couple of months and it stills blows fiberglass!

I remember reading in another post where someone cut apart their injen exhaust and concluded that in order to stop getting the fiberglass from getting blown out, you might have to replace not just the primary pipes, but the resonators and mufflers as well.
