Alright guys so I've tried searching a few times but didn't find much other then questions like WILL IT BE LOUD? Of course it will. My question is how would you design your exhaust?

I am currently drawing up plans for my track car. Off road use only so I don't care about emissions or sound. I know straight pipes sound like crap but if that makes more horsepower and TQ then that's what I'll run.

I was thinking test pipes followed by a true dual with a X pipe located in the area of the stock resonator, then straight back to the tips and either 2.3 inch piping or 2.5 inch. What do you guys think?

If someone knows a thread similar to mine I'd love a link.

Thanks!

I would use the stock mid pipe as a blueprint. You can lose tq and hp if back pressure is to low. I just had custom exh done resonater delete with 2.5 pipe. Sounds great and much better response.

So you'd say forget the dual with X pipe and just got resonator and muffler delete?

I used a megan oe rs muffler. I had somebody back into my G
It broke the pipe at the mid pipe muffler union. I ran it with no muffler just mid pipe. She was loud but was faster. Use stk mid pipe to copy the small bends.it should give you enough back pressure.will be loud though
