Momentum cat delete y-pipe question

Looking at getting a Momentum Performance Cat delete Y-pipe for my 2003 G35 Coupe. I've been informed that o2 Fowlers are not included with the piece. My question is simply, do I need them?

Thanks.

High flow cats are a better idea!

Not sure what part of the country you live in but spending $$ on a y-pipe that deletes your cats is a very poor investment. Regulations change daily, license renewal may require sniffer/visual tests which you'll totally fail. Cat delete y-pipe is a bad idea for our environment too!

Opens up the biggest point of restriction in the exhaust system so your car produces more power. And a louder sound.

I was under the impression that cat deletes/test pipes were more beneficial to performance then High Flow Cats

That cat is the most restrictive thing in our exhaust. Going with pipes or cat delete will give you more performance, but odds are you'll fail any emissions testing and be told to remove it. If you go with HFC you remain street legal...which is a big deal where I live in PA, since I get hooked to a sniffer.

If you want to swap out the Y-Pipe go for an HR one.

Appreciate the response. I am in Missouri and passing a visual inspection wont be an issue as i have a few friends. There is no sniff test required either, the only hurtle I have is keep CELs from appearing.
By now i have a better understanding that there isnt much as far as performance goes comparing cattless pipes and HFC pipes. However catless would obviously be cheaper.

And louder with a higher potential of the dreaded rasp.
