looking to replace my stock exhaust as its rusting out, does anyone know Would an 06 Coupe mid pipe fit on an 03 G35 sedan RWD?

Yes. It's a pretty common swap to get a little more sound out of the stock sedan exhaust.

Does this also work for an 06 sedan? Not clear if this produces the same result or not.

Thanks. I'm trying to figure out what causes the rasp in aftermarket mufflers. I would like to avoid that as much as possible.

Saw a HKS muffler for sale for a great price, literally brand new. Thinking about picking it up. Would the coupe midpipe go well with the HKS muffler, or must midpipe or just HKS muffler? I'm Deaf so I can't hear the finer differences and will need to rely on people's more finely tuned ears

Quality after market mufflers like Magnaflow shouldn't cause rasp and coupe mid pipe will only enhance the sound! I wouldn't recommend HKS mufflers! Only time this combination would get raspy is if you added high flow cats or test pipes...Gary

Thanks Gary!

Was told that Borla exhausts is great for V6 engines. I really want that deep, low rumble, but without too high of a wail/rasp at high rpms. Would also like to avoid any droning as well. I love Magnaflow on v8s. Don't think I've ever heard one on a v6 in person.
