UPS dropped off a package...

and in it contained my ebay test pipes with resonators from megan racing! Got it kind of late so the installation will happen tomorrow morning. My hopes from the test pipes are a slightly louder sound with the least amount of raspiness as possible and of course a slight bump on the butt dyno. Hopefully it'll do both.

There is deffinately more power.
Fit and finish is extremely nice.
I have Gruppe S Y pipe, stock mid pipe and Greddy SP2 rear muffler.
At idle...it sounds almost like stock.
But at around 3K...it starts really getting LOUD.

There is one brief spot in the RPM's where it is Raspy....but it is not really bad.
3rd gear is the worst, as it is smack in the power band.
No drone at highway speeds.
I can shift easy at low RPMs...and it is not bad.

If you asked me right now....I'd say it is too loud for me.
I am trying to get other opinions and hear someone drive my car past me.
I am going to give it a few days and see if I get used to it.
I may try installing the stock rear muffler and see if that tones it down.

finally installed my test pipes(thanks to a friend) and I am happy. The sound is louder and although there is a small rasp at upper 2krpm to mid 3k...it's not too bad. My friends said that it actually sounds decent. The butt dyno saw an improvement also. Now it's time to clean out my air filter(jwt hasn't been clean + reoiled in over 15k i think) and we'll see if that makes my baby run a little faster. =)
